You should remember to book an appointment for the coronavirus test even if you experience the slightest of symptoms. From time to time, people wait with mild symptoms for a long time before deciding to take a coronavirus test. However, when the symptoms start to occur, infected people secrete large quantities of the virus into their surroundings. This situation can easily lead to a high number of exposed persons and the chain of transmission cannot be stopped. If you have mild symptoms, you cannot go to work or to the shops until the coronavirus test has been taken. You must stay at home while you are waiting for your coronavirus test appointment, and you must stay at home while waiting for the results of the test. This quarantine order must be observed.
No gatherings of more than 10 people are allowed
Although the number of infections is currently decreasing, the epidemic situation has not yet calmed down as hoped. Therefore, the regional pandemic working group strongly recommends that meetings of more than ten (10) people should not be arranged. The recommendation is valid throughout the hospital district area until 2 December 2020. All other recommendations also remain necessary and valid.
New chains of infections have even started from small private parties. These private parties must also be avoided.
It is also important to avoid different types of contact with other people, in order to bring the situation back to the base level and so that restrictions and recommendations can be lifted.
Remember to keep a safe distance of two metres and use a face mask. The mask will not help if you forget social distancing rules.
Make sure you download the Koronavilkku app for your phone. Don’t forget to update the app as well!
